Guidance and Coaching Paper Assignment

Students will demonstrate understanding of the APRN guidance and coaching competency through this paper. Through this assignment, the student will examine theoretical, legal, ethical, and professional aspects that impact the guidance and coaching role of the APRN. The student will identify and describe a theory (or combination of theories) that reflects their personal beliefs about the guidance and coaching process in relation to APRN patient care. The student will evaluate the current health care system and consider its influence on the APRN’s ability to adequately perform the guidance and coaching process with their patients. Based on the student’s analysis, they will make recommendations for systematic changes in the healthcare system which could improve the delivery, access, and outcomes of healthcare relating to the guidance and coaching function of the APRN.

The paper should be 5-6 pages in length and conform to APA guidelines (title page, headers, reference pages required) . A minimum of four (4) scholarly references will be used to support the student’s ideas.
