Development Reaction Paper Instructions
Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to explore a specific aspect of developmental psychology in detail.
Directions: Begin this assignment by reading Chapter 4Chapter 10 of the “Psychology in Your Life” text and the two journalarticles about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder:
Your paper must be in current APA format including a title page, abstract and reference page. The paper should be 2–4 pages in length. (This does not include title page, abstract and reference page). Your paper must citeboth the textbook and the journal articles including in-text citation.

In this section, summarize what you have read by condensing Chapter 4 and Chapter 10of the textbook, and the two journal articles. Prove that you have comprehended the material by writing a clear, brief, summary of the main points of each source. For the chapter readings, make sure to focus on the biological and possible environmental aspects that could contribute to ADHD. A summarizationis not a commentary; rather, it is an insightful précis of the longer, more elaborate chapter/article. It must provide a clear overview of the material. Do not use quotes as this shows that you can copy material but do not understand the material. You should be able to summarize the material in your own words, provide correct citation.
In this section reflect on what you just read and find one scholarly journal article (no websites) that present an opposing view to the etiology (development) of ADHD. Again no direct quotes, paraphrase and summarize the material. Be sure to answer the following questions:
