.) When I was first starting this piece, I wanted to make a connection with beautiful mother nature and everyday things. I wanted to relate nature to another form of art to which music came to my mind.
.) I am thinking that I found such a beautiful connection. Nature’s beautiful sounds of wind, ocean, and animal noises are like music to my ears. It made sense to me to connect nature to a musical instrument.
.) Nobody really walked past me because I live in a cul-de-sac, but my parents were watching me occasionally wondering why I was taking photographs of trees and a toy guitar.
.) Art in general is one of the main reasons because it’s a very broad subject and you can connect anything, literally, to art. Another thing that has inspired me is that I have many friends who are artists. Just like my dear friend David, he can not live without nature or his guitar! There are days where me and him play guitar by a lake in a park and therefore I found a lot of connection between the two. Third reason is that I feel happy with soft musical instruments and nature calms my mind. It is peace that art brings to me that inspired me to click this photograph.
.) It took me about two hours to get the perfect click. I had to set the guitar up in numerous ways and I had to edit the picture, so it stands out more beautifully. I have tried to make the color more nature like. Sort of like when you are in the woods or some grassy area. The guitar is of course, made of wood so I had to make it blend in with the tree trunk. I wanted to emphasis color and the landscape, so it seems more nature-like. I wanted to sharpen the twigs and wood pieces around the tree and guitar to give it more texture.
