a)long–term: I think today’s china still need more open and complete financial rule and better capitalization ways and environment for middle and mini corporations. The reason why I prefer a degree of mim is I want to participate the development of financial industry. I think complete and healthy financial industry will help the real economy and national life.
b)I will try to keep doing full time internships in next spring. Before, I only have summer vacation to compete some short term internships. I will graduate earlier due to my enough credits. I will have more than half year to take internships to have more working experience. .And, I will study and pass CFA Level 1 exam in next May.

2. What are your professional goals within your career? | Short term: I prefer to work as financial analyst in securities company or managerial consultant in consulting company.
Long term: When I have enough knowledge and experience, I may try to set up my own venture capital or private equity firm.

3. What are your academic goals? | Gaining knowledge of topics covered in the Advanced Corporate Finance elective could be an academic goal in order to further my finance knowledge. My bachelor degree focuses on the study of managerial and financial Accounting. I prefer to get more deep understanding of the finance It could also lead me to be better equipped to gain a job as a corporate finance analyst after I complete my studies.
Based on my research of the course schedule, I find there are more requirements and courses than I thought from micro/macroeconomics to data/decision analytics. I will try to get comprehensive understanding of these data driven course. Because,today’s companies need skilled employees, who can organize and analyze data to give them meaningful insight into their sales, clients, finances, and virtually anything else that can be measured. |

a) In my undergraduate study, I focus on the study of managerial financial accounting. Based on the course schedule, data analytics and decision analysis courses will use sophisticated models to evaluate possible alternatives, make sensible recommendations, and serve as the basis for communicating findings and influencing decisions. And, I think the accounting related indicator will be used in these courses. I can share others with my understanding of the how accounts can be prepared, understood and interpreted. I also have internship as a financial analyst, I will have basic knowledge of how to visualize the data when I have team presentation.
b) I have Critical thinking skills like collecting information and data, asking thoughtful questions and analyzing possible solutions. I developed scheduling, organizing and prioritizing work in school take on new urgency in today’s business environment. I am good at motivating and inspiring others like teammate, and build successful teams that work together to have better achievement. Critical thinking helps me to have more deep understanding for the same question. So, I will help others to research the problem from various methods. |
2. What cultural background can you offer to the London Business School Community? | I have 4 years study experience un USA. And, my university, penn state, is famous of the alumi system. From my freshman year, I realize the importance of cultivation of relationship and effective connections in daily study and work. Team cohesion is important in the workplace as it leads to greater company success, improved employee satisfaction, and increased motivation. Good team relationship can be cultivated, although teams must treat the process organically. It is important to remember that communication is key, and roles must be defined clearly. A cohesive team and community can be small or large, and based locally or internationally. |
